Yoga for Primary Schools

Here are some details to help you understand what I can provide for your school​

Yoga can fit into your weekly PE, PSHE, or extra-curricular timetable within the school

Weekly yoga classes are for any year group with up to 6 classes in the school day

Yoga is a beneficial after-school club activity

NEW Term Time or Summer School Year 6 Yoga for the transition to High School

Classroom yoga is also available

This option fits perfectly in the school day and is a great substitute if you do not have sports hall availability in your timetable. The children will stretch and move at their desks whilst learning how to use their breath in a positive way. These sessions provide schools an activity that will create a calmer atmosphere in the classroom, teach skills that will help with their wellbeing for life and for everyone to learn how to look after their bodies and minds in the school day.

 

Yoga for Secondary Schools

Here are some details to help you understand what I can provide for your school​

Yoga can fit into your weekly PE, PSHE, sports timetable within the school or as an extra-curricular activity.

Weekly yoga classes are for year groups up to the age of 17 years

You can have a maximum of up to 5 classes within the school day

Yoga is also a beneficial after-school club activity

As part of the school day booking, you can book a 1:1 session for your pupils.

These sessions are crucial to help develop an individual child's mental health and wellbeing.

Which during this current situation that we are in is vital.

Classroom yoga is also available

This option fits perfectly in the school day and is a great substitute if the sports hall is not available in your timetable. These sessions provide schools an activity that will create a calmer atmosphere in the classroom, teach skills that will help with their wellbeing for life and for everyone in class to learn how to look after their bodies and minds in the school day.

 

Wellbeing Days or Weeks

Here are some details to help you understand what I can provide for your school​

Book yoga and mindfulness for your wellbeing awareness days, school events or wellbeing weeks. These sessions are enjoyed by all and provide important parts of yoga that are beneficial to children and teachers routines.

Funding and Invoice Options

Did you know?

Yoga sessions can be funded as port of your school sports premium which you can read about in this link. This PE and sport premium provides primary schools with £320m of government funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of the PE, physical activity and sport offered through their core budgets. Yoga for children is an exceptionally appropriate application of this funding system.

Invoicing

That's why Sarah's Yoga Warriors provides programs to help suit your school financials. There are 4,6,8,10 and 12 week programs available along with half day, full day, health and wellbeing activity weeks as options.
